Three calm steps
- Reserve a timeOnline booking stays open until twelve hours before your appointment; for a same-day tan, simply call or text.
- Arrive preparedExfoliate gently each day beforehand and once more on the day itself, shave or wax at least a day ahead, and come clean and dry.
- Twenty unhurried minutesYour shade is chosen together, then applied in about twenty minutes, with written guidance for the days that follow.

Hello, I'm Jana.
A perfectionist, by nature
I have always adored a beautiful tan. By nature I was a creature of the sun; what I never cared for were the long hours it demanded, or the quiet worry about burning. Discovering that I could have the tan without the sun was nothing short of a revelation. (I still wear my sunscreen, of course.)
My first spray tans, taken in automated booths, were a disappointment: uneven and unconvincing. For someone as exacting as I am, "nearly right" could never be enough. I wanted a spray tan without a single flaw, and that standard is the very reason deSoleil exists.
Since 2007
The finest, without compromise
In early 2007, a book on emerging microtrends set my mind in motion, and I went in search of a more refined way to spray tan. That search led me to Infinity Sun. Far less costly systems were available, but I was unwilling to compromise. I invested in the finest equipment and solution to be had, and that decision has repaid itself many times over.
Infinity Sun has remained an innovator, continually refining its formulas, solutions and products, and every one of them has performed beautifully. I have placed my trust in them for nearly two decades, and I do so still.
Before deSoleil
Where the precision comes from
Before deSoleil, my career spanned accounting, mortgage origination and processing, the stewardship of a sixteen-property rental portfolio and its renovations, and bookkeeping for residential construction. Those years instilled in me a genuine love of getting every detail right, and of treating each person's affairs as though they were my own. That sensibility shapes everything I do: each tan is custom, created for one client at a time, and none leaves the studio until it is exactly right.
Clients, year after year
Why it has meant so much
I opened deSoleil while raising four children, and the studio gave me the flexibility and the freedom to be present for them as they grew. They were remarkable children, they have become remarkable adults and wonderful human beings, and I cherish each of them.
My clients have been every bit as dear to me. Welcoming someone new is a particular joy: they are delighted by how effortless and quick it is, and by how natural the result looks. Then comes the confidence. Clients tell me their spirits lift, and every worry about how they will look at the pool, on the beach or at the wedding simply dissolves.
Everyone who walks through the door is on the way to somewhere wonderful, so I am privileged to hear every story. I have tanned women for their proms, college graduations, engagements, bridal showers, weddings, bachelorette weekends and baby showers, and now for their own children's graduations. Some have been with me since the studio's very first year, and being part of their milestones is the greatest gift this work has given me.
I've been going to deSoleil since 2008, starting back when I was booking tans for sorority formals.

Nothing I haven't seen
After this many years, I've seen every kind of body there is, and not one of them is anything to be ashamed of. Scars, stretch marks, a body that has just had a baby or just come through a hard year: none of it surprises me, and none of it changes how carefully I work. People feel that within a minute of walking in, which is why first-timers relax so quickly.
